 Ripley's Haunted Adventure in Gatlinburg TN is located in the building which in the past was used to manufacture caskets. The factory was known as the Grimsby & Streaper Casket Company that was closed down permanently in 1926 due to the strange disappearance of both company owners.
Later this property was acquired by Ripley’s in 1999 even being aware and advised by locals that certain unnatural things went on inside, Ripley's deliberately began conducting tours to the former casket factory to take constructive decisions on how to better utilize this valuable location. Ultimately it was decided that the place best suits to build a Haunted House as it will anyways match the haunted tales and stories related to the factory.
Ripley’s Haunted House in Gatlinburg TN, is a multi-million dollar haunted house that features live actors, animatronics and bone chilling special effects, dozens of bloodthirsty, creepy and mysterious scenes and galleries here are designed to give a haunted feel. All these creepy monsters of the Ripley’s Haunted House greet the anxious visitors who take the tour in the dark and scary alleys of this house.
Ripley's Haunted Adventure contains all material like the spooks, creeps, and monsters that you have ever dreamt of! The frightening moments and the confusing nature of the house will scare the hell out of you! Bring someone along with you as large numbers will certainly save you. The Ripley's Haunted Adventure is truly scary, because it's dark, it's upsetting and confusing and also it's scary because of the disturbing images which meet head-on to the visitors.
The trip through the Haunted House will last about 30 minutes. But this half an hour is enough to terrify you and your family and give you nightmares for months. The Ripley’s Haunted Adventure is open to public for its year-round haunting and it will become even scarier during this time as the number of performers multiplies and themed surroundings play on your sight, sound, touch, and even smell.
There are special Scary Fright Nights shows conducted in the house and there is no extra charge for the shows which run every Friday, Saturday, and Sunday in October and the shows start at 6:13 p.m. with a character parade. Ripley's Haunted Adventure still manages to scare and put the young and midrange kids into tears and the older kid’s still maintains close contact with the rest of their group until they approached safely back in the light.
